Beautiful to look at, ruthlessly fast, and structured so they can actually be read — by Google, and by ChatGPT. Perplexity. AI Overviews. Gemini. Claude.
Design, build and search strategy usually live at three different agencies who blame each other. Here they're the same conversation.
A site that looks like it belongs to you, loads in under a second, and works on the phone your customer is actually holding.
The unglamorous plumbing that decides whether Google can find you at all — done once, done properly, at build time.
Being the source an AI cites, not the site it skips. Structured, quotable, machine-readable content.
How it goes
Four steps. You'll always know which one we're in.
What you sell, who buys it, and what they type — or ask out loud — right before they buy. I audit what you have, look at who's outranking you, and pull the actual search and question data. No assumptions.
Before a single pixel: a page-by-page plan. Every page gets one job, one primary query, and a reason to exist. This is the step most projects skip, and it's why most sites never rank.
Design and build together, in the browser, where you can actually click it. Semantic HTML, structured data, real performance budgets. You review at two checkpoints, not twenty.
Launch, then watch. Search Console, analytics, and a monthly check on where you're showing up — including inside AI answers, which most reports still ignore. Adjust from there.
Questions
The ones people ask on the first call — answered here so you don't have to book one just to find out.
AEO is the practice of structuring a website so AI assistants — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Google's AI Overviews — can read it, understand it, and cite it in the answers they generate. Traditional SEO competes for a click on a results page. AEO competes to be the source the AI quotes before there's a results page at all.
No — it's a layer on top. Answer engines still lean on the same signals classic search does: crawlable pages, fast loads, clear architecture, credible content. A site with solid technical SEO is already most of the way there. What's left is mostly structure and phrasing.
Two to four weeks for a typical five-to-eight page marketing site. Bigger builds, e-commerce, or projects needing original copy and photography run longer. The biggest variable is how fast content and feedback come back — which is exactly why the content plan comes before the design.
Technical fixes can move in Search Console within days. Ranking gains on competitive terms take three to six months of steady work. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either targeting phrases nobody searches or about to do something that gets you penalized.
Both. Plenty of projects start as an audit of a site that already exists. If the platform can be fixed, I fix it. I only recommend a rebuild when the current foundation makes decent performance genuinely impossible.
Whatever fits. Hand-built static for speed and control, Webflow or Astro when you want to edit things yourself, Shopify for product businesses, WordPress when your team already lives there. Platform gets chosen after the needs are clear — never before.
